Update on the blanket chest

I've been really enjoying the blanket chest build...here are a few more photos updating the progress

Cutting the square mortises for the eventual ebony plugs was surprisingly easy...here, the main case is glued and screwed together

The base has a "hidden" drawer...not so hidden or secret now, I suppose

I've moved to hand tools here...cutting joinery for base pieces with my favorite BadAxe saw
